(World Association for Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counseling)
In 1997 the WAPCEPC (World Association for Person-Centered Counseling and Psychotherapy) was founded at the IV ICCCEP in Lisbon, Portugal.
At the following World Conference, in 2000 in Chicago, the name has been changed to WAPCEPC (World Association for Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counseling), the Statutes (http://www.pce-world.org/about-us/statutes-and-bylaws/statutes.html) and Bylaws were agreed, a Board elected.
WAPCEPC is a worldwide forum for those professionals in science and practice who have a commitment to person-centered principles and an openness to the development and elaboration of person-centered and experiential theory.
WAPCEPC has the goal to support person-centered and experiential organizations and to further cooperation between institutions and individuals.
